Archiproducts Design Awards 2018

Archiproducts Design Awards 2018

The third edition of the international ADAs have been announced

As voted by a panel of international judges consisting of 40 individuals from the most influential architectural and design firms in the world, the Archiproducts Design Award (ADA) winners for 2018 were recently revealed.

We are proud that three brands we represent on an exclusive basis in Australia have been honoured with awards in the Furniture and Contract categories.

The Jabara sideboard, designed by Shinsaku Miyamoto for Japanese brand Ritzwell, receives the ADA in addition to having been awarded a Red Dot Design Award earlier in 2018. The unique design incorporates a sliding door with an appearance reminiscent of reed screen doors of bamboo forests in Japan. Also receiving an ADA in the Furniture category is the Julep lounge by Tacchini. Designed by Jonas Wagell and first released at Salone del Mobile in 2018, the lounge is characterised by its voluptuous and enveloping form inspired by the Avant-garde furniture of the 1950s.

In the Contract category of ADA, the dynamic Kiik collection designed by Iwasaki Design Studio for Arper, receives an ADA for its endless configuration options and ability to create a graphic statement in a range of contract settings.

The three award-winning ranges will be officially launched in Australia in 2019, available exclusively through Stylecraft. Congratulations to the brands and designers of the winning products!
