A new community hub designed by Site Architecture is integrated into the surroundings of the Baldivis Town Square in Western Australia.
The new library and community centre is a solar passive design that sees water and energy use minimised. The two storey building incorporates e-training areas, meetings rooms, offices, outdoor courtyard and children’s playing area.
Featuring throughout the centre are Arper’s Pix ottomans and Gher tables along with Catifa 46 chairs in a range of shell finishes and upholstery with 4 leg timber and 5 way castor bases.
The new public centre has been a vital boost to the Baldivis community with a design steering away from a typically perceived library.
