In order to achieve a harmonious design for a contemporary house located in one of Perth’s coastal suburbs, Interior Designer Malvina Stone chose furniture that suited the relaxed nature of the family home. The use of raw materials and natural timber accents in the light-drenched living area are complemented by the natural oak in the Catifa 53 chair legs by Arper and the frame of the Blava Easy Chairs by Ritzwell.

The Cottesloe home conveys a distinct Australian seaside aesthetic, further enhanced by the choice of Australian designed and manufactured pieces by Stylecraft brand’s One Third and Touching Space. An Ibis Floor Lamp by Touching Space, designed and manufactured in Tasmania and a Splay Lounge by One Third bring a local element to the family’s living room and bedroom. A sophisticated study nook features a Blade table by ThinkingWorks, paired with a Catifa 46 4 Way Castor chair by Arper.
