2025 Reflections
As 2025 draws to a close, we reflect on a year of meaningful momentum for Stylecraft, defined by innovation, collaboration and a continued commitment to supporting the Australian design community.
Across the country, we celebrated the launch of considered new products, hosted thought-provoking conversations, strengthened long-standing partnerships and opened the doors to our new showroom in Melbourne.
From a sustainability-focused discussion to intimate gatherings that honoured design milestones, each moment throughout the year reinforced the importance of connection, creativity and shared values. These events not only showcased exceptional design but also brought together designers, architects and creatives in spaces designed to inspire ideas and interiors.
Catifa Carta by Arper
To celebrate the launch of Arper’s Catifa Carta chair alongside Issue 102 of Green Magazine, Stylecraft hosted a series of panel discussions across our Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne showrooms. Presented in partnership with Green Magazine, Arper, Polestar and Papershell, the events brought together industry voices to explore the intersection of design, sustainability and innovation.
The discussions highlighted the Catifa Carta chair’s pioneering use of recycled and bio-based materials, as well as Arper’s ongoing commitment to circular economy principles. These conversations encouraged deeper consideration of material responsibility and the role of design in shaping a more sustainable future.

Hoshi Butter by Skeehan
In Canberra, the local design community gathered to celebrate the official launch of Hoshi Butter, the latest creative venture from designer Tom Skeehan. Hosted at Skeehan Studio’s concept space at Dairy Road, the venue was transformed for the evening into a warm, inviting environment that reflected the tactile and thoughtful nature of the brand.
The launch marked the 10-year anniversary of the iconic Hoshi chair, providing an opportunity to reflect on its enduring impact while looking ahead to the next evolution of Skeehan’s design practice.

Dwell by Ross Gardam
Nationally, our long-term collaborative partnership with Melbourne-based designer Ross Gardam was further strengthened with the launch of the Dwell modular collection. A series of breakfasts, lunches and dinners were held across all Stylecraft showrooms, offering guests the opportunity to hear directly from Ross Gardam about the development of the range.
The conversations also touched on his latest lighting collections, launched at Milan Design Week. The Dwell collection builds upon Ross Gardam’s design philosophy, delivering a refined balance of comfort, flexibility and sophistication tailored to contemporary commercial interiors.

GOTYA
Our partnership with the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) continued in 2025 through our ongoing support of the Graduate of the Year Awards (GOTYA). For the fifth consecutive year, Stylecraft hosted celebratory events across our Australian showrooms in August, recognising and congratulating this year’s award recipients.
These events reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing emerging talent and supporting the next generation of designers as they shape the future of the industry.

A New Chapter in Melbourne
To conclude an eventful year, we proudly opened the doors to our new Melbourne showroom. After 20 years on Flinders Lane, the relocation marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter at 379 Collins Street, a space designed to foster collaboration, creativity and community.
The Open Day welcomed industry peers, partners and friends to explore the new showroom and celebrate this milestone.

Looking Ahead To 2026
As we move into 2026, we look forward to continuing this momentum. Upcoming highlights include our participation in Melbourne Design Week for the 2026 Australian Furniture Design Award, the opening of a new Canberra showroom, and a calendar of inspiring project features, collaborations and product launches.
