What once started as a slab of Cornish butter, we are excited to welcome the Butter Lounge designed by Faye Toogood for Tacchini.

Butter has made an impression since its arrival in Australia, and it is easy to understand why. Designed by world renowned designer Faye Toogood for Tacchini, the piece is the result of an unconventional, instinctive process — originally modelled from a slab of Cornish butter, shaped with slippery fingers. The outcome is a modular lounge that feels deeply human: generous in its proportions, soft in its form, and quietly expressive in the way it invites you to sit, lean, gather or simply melt into it.

To celebrate the arrival of Butter, we hosted a launch evening with friends from the wider design community in our StylecraftHOME Melbourne and Sydney showrooms, allowing the collection to be indulged first-hand. The catering and event styling on the evening was a delightful nod to the theme of butter, coinciding with the personality of the lounge itself. We extend our thanks to those who joined us, as well as our vendors whose contributions set the tone for a warm and welcoming evening.
