We are proud to announce the launch of Dwell, the latest modular collection by Ross Gardam. The range is a celebration of flexibility and comfort, offering a sculptural foundation for both relaxed and formal environments.
Following on from the commercial success of the Adapt modular collection by Ross Gardam launched with Stylecraft in 2017, the Dwell range continues the approach the Melbourne-based design studio has in adding comfort and a refined aesthetic to interiors within commercial architecture.
Each element of Dwell has been crafted to foster connection and connectivity, while also offering the flexibility to support moments of quiet focus. The system’s visual language is defined by a continuous rail, which physically supports each element while giving the design its distinctive linear language. The Australian designed and manufactured collection is minimal yet expressive with tailored upholstery and considered proportions.
The modular framework allows for both compact and expansive configurations with a unified aesthetic in workplaces, hospitality, public spaces and more. Consisting of the Dwell armchair, ottoman, lounge and modular lounge, the collection places the onus upon the designer to create endless possibilities for a dynamic interior.

The Dwell collection combines adaptability with refined simplicity, allowing designers to create custom seating environments with a unified aesthetic, from a single configuration to a layered, interior landscape. With the ability to create linear runs, corner settings, clusters, or island-like arrangements, Dwell can shape how people interact, move and dwell within a space.
Adding flexibility and longevity to the collection, is the ability for modules to be added or re-configured over time due to the structural rail system. The collection includes low-back, mid-back, and high-back seat modules, ottomans, corner units, integrated tables, as well as a range of cushions and power options. Seats and backrests are available as either individual units for clear articulation or continuous spans for a more seamless expression. Arms and backs may be added to form asymmetric modules, or omitted entirely to open up circulation paths, create directionality, or define zones. Modules can face forward, backward, or alternate directions, offering a wide range of spatial possibilities.

The Dwell collection unifies design integrity, longevity of use and sustainability in a thoughtfully engineered system. Every aspect has been carefully considered to harmonise classic aesthetics with enduring comfort, from the precise tailoring of its upholstery to its well-balanced proportions. The cushions feature layered foam densities that provide long-lasting support while preserving a soft, tactile feel.
Upholstery choices include premium wool, leather, and textured weaves, with the option for clients to specify custom materials. A matte powder-coated steel rail offers a subtle, architectural base, with bespoke finishes available to suit individual preferences.
Refined stitching, gently contoured edges, and understated details reflect a high level of craftsmanship and attention to quality. The collection is made using durable, low-emission materials, demonstrating a clear commitment to environmental responsibility. Dwell seamlessly merges aesthetics, comfort, and sustainability in a system designed to endure.
