Aom is a contemporary lounge designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Arper, created for flexible seating across indoor and outdoor environments.

Defined by a principle of subtraction, its minimal form removes unnecessary weight and detail to create a light, adaptable armchair with a calm and unconventional presence.

Aom is made from two interlocking elements: a lightweight expanded polypropylene structure and Breathair® padding, a recyclable elastomeric polyester selected for comfort, elasticity, breathability and water resistance.

Its construction eliminates polyurethane and glue, allowing components to be separated more easily, while supporting durability, intuitive disassembly and up to approximately 80% recyclability at the end of its life cycle.
