The Catifa 53 chair with 5-way castor base by Arper is suitable across many commercial or home office applications.

The chair sits on a five-star swivel base, stocked in polished or black powder-coated aluminium, mounted on self-braking castors finished to match the base, and equipped with a gas mechanism for height adjustment.

The shell is stocked in white polypropylene, or is available as the Catifa (RE) shell on an extended lead time, made from polypropylene combining post-consumer recycled material with post-industrial material. The chair can be fully upholstered in hard leather or fabric with line, star or plain stitch detail.

For the (RE) shell, a new Breathair® seat cushion is available to enhance comfort. This elastomeric polyester is elastic, breathable, water-resistant and fully recyclable, with shaped padding that ensures a perfect fit to the 53 cm width of the shell, and anti-slip finish to the underside. Breathair® padding can be upholstered in fabric, leather, coated fabric or customer’s own material.
