The VR61 Lounge Chair by Prostoria reinterprets Vjenceslav Richter’s 1961 seating concept in a broader, more relaxed lounge typology. Refined by Richter+, the design retains the mirrored symmetry and geometric discipline unique to the VR61 range, while introducing a more generous shell with a reclining posture.

The timber base supports a lowered seat and back, reinforcing the chair’s relaxed seating experience. The frame is available in solid oak, ash or walnut, or finished in matte colour varnish. Optional upholstered seat, backrest and headrest cushioning elegantly balance comfort with the architectural clarity of the timber form.
