What once was a squandered carpark, Morris Property Group have transformed One City Hill into a landmark statement of innovation. Built to accommodate modern workplace evolution, the design team has reached new heights by utilising global sustainability initiatives and modern design practices. A part of a new retail and commercial vicinity, One City Hill has recently become Canberra’s most notable address for new business.
Canberra design studio Capezio Copeland, were employed to bring key public spaces to life by focusing on developing the interiors to reflect the architectural language of the structure itself and its surroundings.
Public zones are centred at the bottom of numerous light-filled floors that create an open-air atmosphere while delivering expansive views of Lake Burley Griffin and City Hill.
Driving industry change, Capezio Copeland placed priority on creating thoughtful design by sourcing from local suppliers and brands. Featured in the public areas, Hélice by Keith Melbourne is an Australian designed and manufactured collection that is vital in conveying the warmth and cohesion of the space. Keith Melbourne joined Stylecraft’s suite of brands in 2012 and launched the Hélice collection in 2024.
As the centrepiece to the entry foyer and lift lobby, the Hélice Modular Lounge with accompanying side table is an elegant feature that complements the welcoming and connected arrival experience implied by Capezio Copeland. To further support the practicality of the space for tenants and visitors alike, Hélice High Back Lounge creates a space for quiet moments or interactions. The range’s inviting nature is highlighted in its soft, sculptural form that encapsulates Keith Melbourne’s distinctive design language
