Located on the banks of Robertson Quay in Singapore, The Warehouse Hotel is a locally-designed boutique hotel renovated from an iconic 1895 warehouse.
Meticulously restored, the interior of the 37-room independent hotel was designed by award-winning agency, Asylum. The design firm aimed to revisit some of Singapore’s history by integrating a selection of industrial-like textures balanced with modern luxe finishes. The lobby and reception area serve as a communal space and host the hotel’s signature restaurant, Po. The area features a medley of chairs thoughtfully selected for their adherence to the design intent of the hotel, including Oblique Metal Chairs by Prostoria from Croatia. The Oblique chairs were also chosen for the boutique hotel’s guest rooms. Each unique room exudes a sense of modern luxe with the use of copper, forest green marble and timber applied throughout the rooms.
A touch of local flavour is introduced by way of an in-house restaurant, a refined Singaporean concept that presents modern-day local flavours shaped by award-winning chefs. The 52-seat restaurant is designed to provide a unique dining experience with a juxtaposition of materials used such as rattan chairs, green calacatta marbled tabletops and terrazzo flooring. The C603 chair by Feelgood Designs in natural rattan was chosen by Asylum for its classic design and versatility.
